F&T - 24th February: Animation Tests & End of scheduled 3 weeks for project

• Created a couple of tests before meeting to illustrate what I was hoping would be the visual style for film (above) 

•  A quick 'throwaway' image I created as a part of trying out rotoscoping, based on the footage from the film he showed for the pitch.

• Planned to meet with both Deryck and Elena - Elena couldn't make it with good reason but I hoped to create storyboard with her there as well.
• Deryck wasn't so keen on the agitated style but preferred the quick 'throwaway'.
• I was tired (which influenced my attitude) - I liked the shakiness a bit more but understood where Deryck was coming from that he feel it didn't serve the 'essence'.
• Deryck said that he would plan to work out the shots/content for film with Elena.

Where I'm at now with the project:

• Still feels vague/broad; only now feels like reaching a point of where the idea should have been at for the pitch 3 weeks ago
• Tempted not to continue but feel it would be disrespectful/bad attitude to drop out.
• Partly handing over more responsibility to him; meet me halfway.
• Next would be to maybe try a test animation of style of 'throwaway' & await response from Deryck.
