I have to confess that I've been a bit unorganised with my blog stuff so far this semester (but that's not to say I haven't been doing anything!). Here are some observational sketches predominantly sourced from my daily train commute from home to ECA. (No idea what I'm going to do when living in town next year...going to have to be a bit more proactive about finding opportunities to draw!).
Anyway, nothing amazing here: some drawings I like, some just mess but I enjoy it and it's good to be in the habit of doing it anyway. It'd probably be good to do some more gestural drawings as I still struggle with 'capturing' the essence of the figure. And to balance it out, probably good to do some longer poses again (15-30min) but I'll have the opportunity for that once weekly Life Drawing starts up again.
